KSI Technology

An app studio of one — iOS & Web

Software built around your business, not around the stack.

I'm an app engineer that focuses on the people and the business. I engineer apps that scale with your business, and I don't push technology just for the hype. It's about serving the people and the community. Lowering cost, increasing security and compliance, providing stability and value is what I have mastered.

What I build

You have the idea. I have decades of experience shipping it.

One engineer, accountable end to end — from the first conversation about what your business actually needs, through the App Store review, to the version you ship next year.

Native iOS apps

Swift and Objective-C, built to pass review and survive the next OS release.

Web apps & platforms

React and Next.js front ends on infrastructure that costs what it should.

MVPs for founders

The smallest thing that proves the business, built so it isn't thrown away.

Technical partnership

Fractional CTO work for teams with a product and no engineer to own it.

How I work

Four steps, no mystery.

  1. 01

    Understand the business

Who it serves, how it makes money, what actually has to be true for it to work.

  2. 02

    Cut to the core

We agree on the smallest version worth building, and what waits for v2.

  3. 03

    Build in the open

Working builds in your hands early and often. No six-week silences.

  4. 04

    Ship and stay

Release, watch how people use it, and keep improving what matters.

About the author

Mohammed Mahinul Islam

Founder, KSI Technology

My name is Mohammed Mahinul Islam. I immigrated from Bangladesh when I was 6 years old, and am as American as hamburgers and burritos. I love being an entrepreneur, and have been studying businesses from the inside, and out, all my life. I've engineered at large companies like Honeywell, startups in San Francisco, and small companies like my own.

I'm an app engineer that focuses on the people and the business. I engineer apps that scale with your business, and I don't push technology just for the hype. It's about serving the people and the community. Lowering cost, increasing security and compliance, providing stability and value is what I have mastered.

Tell me what you're trying to build.

If it's a real business problem, I'd like to hear it. First conversation is about your customers, not my stack.
